Meet Our Team

Chief Executive Officer today of Bouma USA with many years of experience in Leadership, Management, & Oversight of many projects that would range from small to multi- million dollar types across the USA. The scope of work provided typically involved some, or all of the areas like: Development Services, Design/Architectural, Procurement, Estimating, Project Management, Construction, Interior Finishing, & Furniture-Furnishings-Equipment. A feature that you will find in the majority of these projects is the type of Client. They had multiple project potential, valued long term trusted relationships, and worked with Doug for many years following. The markets served throughout Doug’s career have been Charter Education, Private Education, Higher Education, Medical, Retail, Medical, Manufacturing, Government, & Office.

One of Doug’s passions in serving a Client is in the area of developing solutions for some of the most difficult projects/challenges that exist relating to budget, scope, and schedule. They certainly appeared like it was impossible to achieve success from the outside looking in but the secret developed by Doug was with combining superior skill, experience, and the special Bouma culture which created many significant solutions over his career.

Doug is married to his very Best Friend & Business Partner and is also blessed with 6 children.

Paul leads the preconstruction process and operations for Bouma USA with many years of experience and a lifetime growing up in the construction industry. Paul’s preconstruction experience includes things like project planning, feasibility studies, conceptualization, budgeting, site evaluations, design, engineering and support of real estate acquisition and financing. He also supports the business development process to build new relationships and create and develop new project opportunities.

Paul also leads operations through planning, process and procedures and business strategy. He works closely with accounting and provides support to the construction team by managing contracts, budgets, etc.

Paul is happily married with three 3 wonderful children.

Ken is an experienced project manager, with many years in nearly every aspect of the construction industry. Proven leadership skills and the ability to build and foster team work allow Ken to excel like few can with extremely challenging projects. Ken has a long track record of completing projects within schedule and under budget.

Steve’s experience in Construction Management ranges from design development through Closeout.  His project management skills were founded on varied construction experience, including multiple phase of construction, and working in multiple fields of Construction.  Steve has worked as Construction Manager, Mechanical project manager, Conceptual designer, Structural detailer, and Electrical Engineer.  Completed project types include commercial, industrial, retail, institutional, hospitality, and health care.

Steve is married and has 3 children.
